Our professional service saves you, time, money, and effort. We can expose and work around objects and utilities which would be potentially damaged by mechanical backhoeing or trenching. Our process reduces damage to buried objects, virtually eliminates labour-intensive hand digging and reduces environmental impact since both water and excavated soil are directed into our vacuum tank truck. Risk of environmental contamination is also reduced as sludge is removed by vacuum and transferred to appropriate disposal areas. The use of mechanical excavating equipment such as excavators, bobcats, augers, backhoes and trenchers can destroy expensive underground infrastructure or is too large to access small spaces and backyards Macquarie Hydro Excavation has a trailer mounted excavator making it easy to get into small spaces and or backyards without causing any damage.

Macquarie Hydro Excavation now has 3000l capacity vacuum truck for larger industrial & residential jobs

Post Holes for Fences & Sign

Manually digging just a few post holes can be a time consuming and labour intensive task, so if you need to dig several of these there is a much faster way. Macquarie Hydro Excavation can dig holes for fences, signs and poles by utilising both water pressure and vacuum suction to excavate the holes. Our specialised equipment is precise and meticulous.

Pier Hole Cleaning

Storm debris, rotten branches, stumps, old leaves, loose dirt, rocks and refuse type materials can build up on construction sites rather quickly. Macquarie Hydro Excavation has the equipment to thoroughly clean pier holes prior to pouring concrete resulting in clean, uncontaminated concrete.

Pit Cleaning

Macquarie Hydro Excavation utilise suction to clean electrical, communication, or  stormwater pits.  Using suction to remove water, sludge and water borne debris is a practical and environmentally friendly method for pit cleaning. Our capabilities also include the ability to clean pits in places with low overhead clearance, with our Trailer mounted hydro excavation system. This makes us the ideal solution for areas like underground car parks and other hard to reach places

Dewatering

A water-logged construction site can delay progress and increase costs depending on the amount of water and where it is being retained. Water on a concreted area will remain much longer than that on dirt. Macquarie Hydro Excavation is able to remove rain water from post holes, trenches, pier holes and pits.

Flushing/Cleaning Stormwater Pits

During a project, many items and debris can build up in the stormwater pits resulting in blockages. Macquarie Hydro Excavation can clean and flush stormwater pits of rubbish, soil, leaves, branches and other items.

Removing Mud

Mud and soil because of drilling is inevitable on any site and apart from creating a mess may also be a health and safety risk for staff while also being time consuming to remove when done manually. Wet or dry, Macquarie Hydro Excavation can remove this material from your site and dispose of it properly.

Locating & Potholing

Any buried services or objects can be clearly identified and marked within a work site to ensure your team knows the exact location of all underground objects when working on a site.  Once located we can pothole each object for easy identification and location. Not only can we locate items in any given area with this procedure, but we can proceed to pothole those underground objects. The result? Any buried services or objects will be clearly identified and marked within the work site, ensuring your team knows exactly where objects are when working

Leaf and debris clean-up

Macquarie Hydro excavation can also use the trailer mounted excavator for removing old woodchips, leaves, old dirt piles or sand pits from backyards saving home owners backbreaking labour and time.
